Thank you!!
Jan. 4th, 2013 03:11 pmI have been sadly remiss in all aspects of my life recently and I want to apologize and to also say "Thank You".
End of November, I got slammed with a huge project at my 1st job that sucked all the joy out of my life till it finally was resolved a few days before Christmas. Between the two jobs I was working a ridiculous amount of time. I barely stumbled through Christmas (I am STILL shopping for Christmas 2012) at my brother's house where I spent the week sleeping. After I got home, I promptly got sick with headache, exhaustion, low grade fever and chills plus got food poisoning on top of it all. I am back to work now but not at full force yet. I get so tired. And I have been so crabby! My goodness, I don't even like being around me!! Anyway, I really don't want it to look like I'm offering a pile of excuses it's just that life pretty much beat me up and kicked me to the curb for the better part of a month or so. I am feeling some better, I just sleep a lot. And joy? Found out yesterday that I'm getting another, similar project to the one that I barely made it through in December! At least this time I don't have to worry about "keeping up" with any holidays!!
Now on the the good stuff!! I want to give heartfelt thanks to Lbilover for the card, the delightful story and bookmark. I have never even HEARD of the Father Christmas Letters and have since placed it at the top of my reading list!! Thank you so very, very much!
Thank you also to Belleferret! I was honored by the adoption in my name of a prairie dog (Daisy) as part of the Black-footed Ferret Recovery Program. As part of the package, I got a beautiful certificate, information on the program, a photograph of "my" prairie dog and a stuffed prairie dog that now lives in my den. There was also a corresponding lapel pin, magnet and a wonderful ferret Christmas tree ornament! PLUS she gave me a hysterical ferret calendar (now hanging proudly on the wall of my den) and a photograph of Sean. Bless your heart, it was such a special gift!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that this new year turns out to be full of joy, health and love! Thank you!!
